Always Provide: Announcing The Provider Fund

July 31st, 2024

Happy Hump Day:) I love it when different parts of life come together. I can't help but think it's all part of a bigger plan. Let me explain.

1 big thing: The Provider Fund Launches

Help us provide a personal doctor to 1 person for 1 year. Our mission is to inspire leaders and parents to be providers and servant leaders like Jesus. But what if your health is getting in the way of serving others? We are going to help.

  • Why it matters: Health and healthcare can be confusing. It's hard to be healthy without a dedicated, engaged primary care provider.
  • How this all came together. I consult businesses on employee health insurance options. I have seen what works and what is a waste. Direct Primary Care works. Employees love the unlimited primary care membership that offers unlimited extended visits and same-day service for a flat fee. So I thought, why can't we offer this as part of the CL Thomas Fellowship® ministry?
  • Provider next step: Consider donating! Join my family and others in donating to the new CL Thomas Fellowship® Provider Fund. 100% of your donations will go towards sponsoring someone's personal direct primary care membership for 1 year. It takes $1200 to pay for a year of membership. Let's start by providing 1 doctor to 1 person...and then let's see how far we can go:)

2. 🎙️ New Podcast Episode!

#133 with Armand Law. This was a special conversation. Armand was part of the inaugural CL Thomas Fellowship® men's group that I facilitated. He shares some of his best provider lessons in this show.

About Armand. He grew up a Buddhist and then his worldview was challenged in college. Fast forward to today and he is leading his family by modeling a life of generosity and praying "impossible prayers."

Listen or watch the video of this episode! Be sure to follow our podcast on your favorite app, and now you can also watch the interview on our CL Thomas Fellowship® YouTube channel.

3. 👏 A Book (and Career) That Provides

Embracing emergent strategies. This book, "How Will You Measure Your Life," reminds us to be open to unexpected opportunities- especially when we think we have it all planned out.

From fighting to embracing emergent career changes. This emergent strategy message resonates so deeply with me because I thought I was going to be a full-time health coach. Then, I thought I was going to be a full-time COO of an employee wellness company. Then I thought I was going to do all of that, plus be a content creator. Then I had an opportunity to build an employee benefits consulting firm.

Experience leads to confidence. I struggled to settle on an emergent strategy. Without all of these many emergent experiences, I would not have the confidence to launch the Provider Fund. It brings me joy when all of these "random" experiences lead to a meaningful purpose.

If you want to explore the theme of reflecting on a life and career well lived, I encourage you to get the book. It's filled with practical questions and frameworks for measuring your life.

Thank you for the opportunity to document my provider journey. I hope it inspires you to be a servant leader like Jesus.

Bless & Protect,

Justin Thomas

Aug 21st, 2024 Happy Hump Day:) A weekly update on my path to becoming a provider that I hope inspires your journey. Enjoy! 1 big thing: The Psalms are So Good Never stop praying. We can be in agony. We can feel frustrated. We can be stressed. We just need to keep praying. All of these feelings are just called "living." What makes us providers like Jesus is that we never stop praying. Why it matters: We can ultimately end at a place of peace as long as we keep praying and "remember his...

Aug 14th, 2024 Happy Hump Day:) Let's conquer any midweek hurdles together with some provision motivation. I've got some confessions and fun updates to share. Enjoy! 1 big thing: Learn From Others - Don't Worship Them Worship God, not man. My best newsletters are the ones I write to myself because they are real. I recently discovered the author and entrepreneur Alex Hormozi. He says he is not religious and enjoys throwing out F-bombs. I like him. Truthfully, I have probably placed him as an...
